Here’s exactly what you should do (and avoid) after your appointment at AllFace & Co. to make sure your microshaded brows heal evenly, retain pigment, and look flawless.

What You Should Do After Brow Microshading

1. Blot, blot, blot!

Right after your PMU brow appointment, you’ll want to blot your brows every couple of hours with antiseptic wipes. This helps remove lymph and reduces the chance of scabbing.

2. Start gentle cleansing on Day 2

On the second day, begin washing your brows twice a day—morning and night—with the tattoo soap provided. Always use clean hands and pat gently—no scrubbing!

3. Keep those brows lightly moisturized

After you wash and blot dry, apply a tiny bit of ointment. A thin coat is all you need—just enough to hydrate the brows without over-saturating them.

What You Should NOT Do After Your Appointment

1. Skip the saunas and sunshine

Avoid pools, saunas, long hot showers, direct sunlight, and any heavy sweating (sorry, gym lovers) during the healing process. Moisture and heat can disrupt pigment retention.

2. No makeup on the brow area

We know it’s tempting, but keep your regular brow products far away until your skin is fully healed. Applying makeup too soon can cause infections and fading.

3. Don’t pick, scratch, or touch

Even if it’s flaking or scabbing—hands off! Picking can cause scarring or pull out pigment before it sets, leading to patchy brows.

Long-Term Brow Care Tip

Once your brows are fully healed, show them some love by applying sunscreen daily. Yes—brow sunscreen! UV rays are one of the biggest culprits when it comes to premature fading of permanent makeup brows.
